Salomon “Salo” Nicodemus Archuleta, age

92, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on January 20, 2021.

He was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas. Salo was a master sergeant in the army during the Korean War and was stationed in El Paso, TX. He retired as an educator after 35 years of service for APS. Salo was loved by his many students at Albuquerqu­e High School. He enjoyed his retirement, traveling all over the country, and his life on the farm in Belen.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary P. Archuleta; daughter, Linda M. Hammack; brothers, Figo, Teles, Antonio, Jr.; sisters, Rose and Nina. Salo is survived by his brother, Augustin (Pauline); sons, Rudy (Evelyn), David (Sandra), and Michael; grandchild­ren, Michael Jr. (Kristin), Susan (Edric), Rudy Jr., Ariana, (Gibbs), Jennifer (Zachary), Amanda (Jake), Carmel, Natasha, William (Miranda); 16 great-grandchild­ren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at San Clemente Catholic Church, beginning with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 AM and a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
