Pedestrian hit, killed on Central near Louisiana

Albuquerque Police Department officers are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on East Central on Wednesday evening.

Officer Daren DeAguero, a police spokesman, said the crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred at Charleston and Central, east of Louisiana.

“The pedestrian has succumbed to their injuries on scene,”

DeAguero said.

The intersection was closed as officers investigated.

DeAguero did not immediately provide any details on how the crash occurred.
