Stephen B. Harp (Estle Ornado Harp), age 99, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, in Albuquerqu­e, NM. He was born January 8, 1922, in Woodbine, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Laura Harp; sister, Pauline Gibson; brothers, Chester, J.T., and Orlando Harp; stepson, Charles Ulery; grandchild­ren, Nicholas Celenze and Jefferson Davis; sons-in-law, James Wright, James Novak, and Steve Chancellor. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann Harp; daughters, Gloria Novak, Sherry Wright, Nichole Weakland (Don), Tanya Celenze (Mike), Stephanie Harp, Kristin Chancellor; son, Marc Harp (AnnMarie), and four generation­s of wonderful, beautiful kids living, 49 in all; 7 children, 13 grandchild­ren, 23 great-grandchild­ren, and 6 great-great-grandchild­ren. He was always called dad, daddy, grandpa, and grandpa E.O.

He was a jack of all trades, most notably a WWII Naval bombardie r/pilot, NM Mounted Patrol Officer, accomplish­ed business owner, awarded Arabian horse ow ner/trainer, avid golfer, pool shark, and survivor of countless injuries. There was no mistaking he was a man of few words, but stern action. From now on Angels will be pulling the coach as he rides shotgun over the flock.
