-

SANTA FE — Three people were killed in a car crash early Wednesday morning north of Pojoaque on U.S. 284/85, according to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the scene around 3:40 a.m. and found a two men dead in the northbound shoulder and a woman dead in the southbound roadway.

It’s suspected the Toyota Tacoma they were driving began to fishtail and the driver lost control, causing the truck to roll several times. In the process, the three people were ejected, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Juan Rios said.

The Office of the Medical Examiner is waiting on dental records to identify the victims due to the extent of their injuries, Rios said.
