-

1959-2021

Friedrich “Chris” Christian Lamm of Albuquerque,

New Mexico, left us on January 21, 2021, after a short illness from an unexpected heart complication. He was 61.

Chris was born in Calgary, Canada. His parents were Hans Lamm and Erika (Mommsen) Lamm. He grew up in San Jose, California and Spokane, Washington. He graduated from North Central High School in Spokane. Chris joined the Navy, was assigned to an aircraft carrier and traveled the world for 8 years. The Navy brought him to Kirkland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM, in 1987. That is where he met his wife of 31 years, Dianne. Together, they had a son, Jack. Chris was a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services for many years. He graduated from Colorado State University. Chris was very active in Boy Scouts of America and Eastdale Little League. With Jack, he loved playing golf, fishing, watching football and going to Phoenix for Spring Training baseball games. When traveling with Dianne, they would talk about everything under the moon, for hours.

We will truly miss Chris’ sense of humor, his quick wit and his generosity. Chris is survived by his wife Dianne (Cournoyer) Lamm, son Jack (Jacqueline) Lamm, brother Carl (Emily) Lamm, sisters Sonja (Jose) Navarro, Renae Lamm, Heidi (Byron) Stevenson, Alice (Derek) Reynolds, Tammi Lamm and stepmom Arline Elliott. Chris was predeceased by his parents. At a later date, when it will be safe for us to gather, we will have a church service and celebrate Chris’ life. Then, he will be honorably placed to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
