Rita Brown

Rita Vitalia Brown from Sedillo Hill, NM, a resident of Albuquerque, NM was born 10/14/1951. Passed away surrounded by her loving family on 1/24/2021, raised by Grandma Susanna Jaramillo and born to our beloved Felix and Tomasita Jaramillo. She was a devoted wife and had a heart of Gold with unconditional love, support, encouragement, and a generous spirit. She was artistically talented and a master craftswoman, a homemaker and her dream had been to open a flower shop. She worked 20 years as a banquet waitress for the Albuquerque Convention Center and for the Petroleum Club. She is dearly and deeply Loved and will be greatly missed by her family!

Rita is preceded in death by numerous family: Grandma Candelaria O. Jaramillo. Her brothers: Clovis and Harry Jaramillo, her sisters: Mary Lou Otero and Alma Jaramillo. And her Father and Mother In-law Dewey and Mary Brown, sister inlaw, Louise Brown Chavez and brothers-in-law: Pete, Johnny Brown, and Wilfred Candelaria and many other beloved family members. She is survived by husband Roy L. Brown of 53 years, Her son David Brown and her daughter Susanna Serna Brown and Jeremy Salgado. Her grandchildren: Kylynn Brown, husband Mario

Trevizo, Victor Brown, Alicianna Serna, Tristan Montoya, Shalyn and Emilo Romero. Her Sisters and their spouses Chris Christy, Wilma and Tommy Sr. Garcia, Geneva Brown, Marylin Garcia, and Christine and Steve Sanchez; her brothers and their spouses Alex and Nancy, Bobby and Cora and Jerry Jaramillo, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and Godchildren.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico. Their contact is 505-832-6130 and are located at 807 Central/ Route 66 Moriarty, NM 87035. Communion Mass will follow at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 3:00 P.M and will be rectified by Andrew Chavez. They are located at 820 Broadway Blvd., Albuquerque, NM 87102. Pallbearers will be Alex Jr. Jaramillo, Kenny Sr. Jaramillo, Steve Sanchez, Valle Romero, Curtis Brown, and Stephen Otero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Antionette Candelaria, Cindy Gutierrez, Germaine Padilla, Felicia Beltran, Jennifer Mayer, Joshyln Brown, Lynette Chavez, Monica Ortiz, Rebecca Cadena, Sonya Jaramillo, Tavanna Christy. Internment will held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Harris Hanlon Mortuary.
