■ President Biden is under pressure from Congress this week to clean house at the U.S. Postal Service. The lawmakers want the president to fire the entire USPS management. Biden could mail them letters of termination, but they’d still be working there for six months before they got them.

■ Donald Trump reportedly sees his trial as Trump versus the Democrats, the deep state, the media and high tech. The first day of the trial opens with the introductory statements; the second day will feature the interviews, and then on the final day, the evening gown and swimsuit competition.

■ Amazon founder Jeff Bezos said Tuesday that he will step down as the company’s CEO. Twenty-six years ago, Bezos founded Amazon in his garage as an online bookseller. He will be leaving with an excellent package, slightly damaged and delivered three doors down.
