Senate Democrats commence their second trial of Donald Trump this week. The president has decided to stay out of the trial and stay engaged on his job. On Monday, all President Biden had to say was to congratulate the Buccaneers and Chiefs on a great World Series.
House Republicans insist Nancy Pelosi be fined for bypassing the metal detector as she entered the House chamber last week. I misheard the news, but it gave me an idea. Imagine how dramatically it might thin out the herd if security installed a mental detector at the entrance to the House chamber.
The Super Bowl was played Sunday between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs, ending after the fourth quarter with the Buccaneers leading the Chiefs 31-9. However, we may not know the winner for weeks. Mailin touchdowns and extra points still have to be counted.
