■ Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg combined to co-host a cooking show called “Martha and Snoop Dogg’s Potluck Party Challenge.” There are dozens of celebrities cooking on TV, and I may go for that easy money. And if you don’t think I can cook, you’ve never tried my cereal.
■ Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti took himself out of the running for any Biden administration Cabinet or other appointed posts last week. His shutdown orders have destroyed his popularity ratings. Of course, being popular in LA is like sitting at the cool cafeteria table in the mental hospital.
■ Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot finally got the Chicago Teachers Union to budge and return slowly back to classrooms after experts warned that virtual schooling is stunting the kids’ educational progress and emotional health. I have a lot of growing up to do myself. I realized that today in my fort.
