Some sites to waive day-use fees for holiday

The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) will waive fees at many dayuse recreation sites on Monday, Feb. 15, in honor of Presidents’ Day.

Fees will be waived at SFNF sites that normally charge a day-use fee. Visitors are encouraged to check the status or contact the appropriate ranger district office to determine which sites are open.

The remaining fee waiver dates for 2021 are: ■National Get Outdoors Day: June 12 ■National Public Lands Day: Sept. 25 ■Veterans Day: Nov. 11. For more information visit fs.usda. gov/santafe.
