Lobo volleyball blanked at Wyoming

LARAMIE, Wyo. — Host Wyoming (4-0, 4-0) blanked New Mexico 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 26-24) for the second consecutiv­e day in Mountain West Conference volleyball. Freshman middle blocker Tori Tua led the Lobos with a match-high 10 kills and added a team-high five total blocks (one solo).

Up next for UNM (2-2, 2-2) is San Diego State (0-3 befpre Saturday), with matches set for Friday and Saturday.

SOFTBALL: In Leesburg, Fla., bad weather Saturday prevented New Mexico State’s two games against Liberty and Middle Tennessee. The Aggies will try to play doublehead­ers against both teams today.

MEN’S TENNIS: In Tempe, Ariz., freshman Corey Clarke’s No. 6 singles win was the Aggies’ lone point in a 6-1 loss at Arizona State
