NASA flight engineers at Mission Control in Houston cheered and celebrated Thursday when the Mars Rover touched down safely. The craft landed on the barren reddish wasteland in total darkness with the temperature 70 degrees below zero. It was NASA’s first mission to West Texas.

The CDC said last week that recently falling COVID infection numbers are no reason to return to normal yet. Together the government and media seem hellbent on taking permanent control of our lives. I just cleaned my TV screen with anti-virus wipes and lost all three cable news channels.

Tom Brady was happily tipsy at the Tampa Bay Bucs victory parade and was seen on his yacht hurling the Lombardi Trophy to another boat. He proved he can win it anywhere. I think the only way to keep Tom Brady from winning another Super Bowl ring is to trade him to the Dallas Cowboys.
