The youngest of four children of Nick Petrison and Ann Tudor, she was born in Canton, Ohio where she grew up and would later move to Austin, Texas and eventually to New Mexico. Chris’ family and friends are left heartbroken for her departure. You didn’t have to know her long before you realized that in Chris you had one of the most nonjudgmental people you would ever encounter. We will always remember her for her sincere, gentle nature, her assiduous approach to her career, her relentless support to those she loved and her special affection for Basenji dogs. We take a little comfort knowing that Chris is now with her son Stacy who passed five years ago. She is survived by her spouse, James Burroughs of Albuquerque; her sister and her sister’s spouse, Vicky and Henry Lewin of Griffin, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. A virtual memorial service is planned for 2 p. m. on March 13, 2021. If you desire to attend and have not been provided with contact information. Please contact James Burroughs a few days before the service.
