John O’Neil

John O’Neil, 56, Beloved son, brother, father, uncle, nephew and friend, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. John loved his family, the Red Sox, the Penn State Nittany Lions and any sports team of New Mexico. He enjoyed watching sports with his friends and was always ready with a quick fact or interesting comment. He enjoyed exploring the back roads, forts and monuments of New Mexico. He was a proud Monarch from the Class of 83 of Manzano High School, where he was an excellent athlete. John worked several jobs throughout his life and never met a stranger. Always ready to help in any way he could, John would never let you down.

He is survived by his Mother Elsie, two sisters, Mary and Catherine; children, Shibhan and Taylor, nephew James, Aunt Josie, Uncle Henry, many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Robert.

Mass will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021, 10:30 a. m. at the Shrine of St. Bernadette at 11509 Indian School NE.
