State awards $1.77M in February JTIP grants
New Mexico Economic Development approved grants to train 232 workers at 11 firms through the Job Training Incentive Program in February.
The February JTIP grants total $1.77 million. Companies receiving more than $100,000 in grants include:
Saputo Cheese USA, which received $668,735 to support 150 trainees in Las Cruces with an average wage of $16.81 per hour.
Twistle, which received $398,171 to support 18 trainees in Albuquerque with an average wage of $40.33.
Nature’s Toolbox, which received $338,680 to support 14 trainees in Santa Fe with an average wage of $44.
IDEAS Engineering & Technology, which received $102,955 to support six trainees and two interns in Albuquerque. The average intern salary is $17.25. The average trainee salary is $28.58.
