Watch, listen to Cruces State of the City address

LAS CRUCES — Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagishima will deliver his annual State of the City address via video conference at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The city issued a news release stating the mayor’s speech will highlight Las Cruces’ accomplishments during the past year and will touch on city government goals for the coming year.

The address will be televised live on CLC-TV, Comcast Cable channel 20, and will be available online at clctv. com and at YouTube.com/clctv20. On completion of the address, the text of the speech will be available in English and Spanish on the city’s website at https://www.las-cruces. org.

In last year’s State of the City address, Miyagishima highlighted several objectives for 2020, including hiring a city manager, increasing access to affordable housing, installing a trolley bus system on El Paseo Road and transitioning the city to sustainable energy.
