one of the most desirable locations in the metro area
Pulte Homes’ Inspiration on Albuquerque’s far Westside abuts a portion of the Petroglyph National Monument.
That means it is in one of the more desirable locations in the metro area and a worthy selection as the Signature Community for the Spring Parade of Homes by the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico.
“We are very excited to unveil our Inspiration master planned community to Albuquerque,” said Pulte spokeswoman Calysta Camp. “A ton of hard work has gone into the creation of this neighborhood and we cannot wait for the community to tour not only the model homes and floor plan offerings, but the neighborhood itself including the location and all the amenities that residents are enjoying.”
With 327 home sites spread comfortably across 80 acres, Inspiration includes five model homes that can be seen during the Parade. It opened its first phase in spring 2020 and despite the pandemic, sales have been strong, she said.
“Overwhelming buyer demand in the first phase has Pulte eagerly developing the second phase with anticipation to open lots for sale this summer 2021,” Camp said. A key factor in the gated community’s success is the versatility of the designs.
“Inspiration offers a total of 15 single and two-story home designs divided into two distinct series with square feet ranging from 1,567 to 4,267,” she said. “The home designs feature expansive gathering areas, outdoor living spaces with fireplaces and flexible room options that are suitable for the evolving needs of homebuyers.”
Inspiration was quick to seize on the past year’s drive to work from home, providing space for one or even two work-from-home parents.
“Today, buyers are choosing home designs with one or even two home offices, and additional rooms for studying or working out,” Camp
said. “Buyers at Inspiration get to personalize their floor plan, so they are able to get the most out of their living spaces.”
Its location convenient to I-40 means the rest of the metro area is within easy reach, but the area has its own, unique advantages, she said.
“Inspiration neighbors the new (Albuquerque Public Schools) Tres Volcanes Community Collaborative School serving grades kindergarten through eighth,” Camp said. “Diagonally across Arroyo Vista Boulevard is the Albuquerque Regional Sports Complex, an APS stadium hosting football, track and field, and other community events. Additionally, Inspiration offers surrounding views of the city and Sandia Mountains, nearby open space, and close access to the Petroglyph National Monument.”
In addition to the nearby places to recreate, the community has built-in recreational opportunities.
“Amenities at Inspiration include a fully landscaped arrival trail and community monumentation,” Camp said. “A gated entry for privacy, and a community park with play structures, seating areas and a basketball court.”
With prices starting in the low $300,000s, Inspiration is targeting growing families who are moving into larger homes, as well as those looking to downsize once their children have moved out.
The community features the Apex and Peak series of homes, Camp said. “The Apex series homes start at 1,576 sq. ft., include a mixture of one- and two-story homes, can accommodate between two and five bedrooms, offer 2-car garages, and start in the low $300,000s,” she said.
And “the Peak series homes start at 1,997 sq. ft., include a mixture of one and two-story homes, can accommodate between three and seven bedrooms, offer up to four-car garages, and start in the mid $300,000s,” Camp added.
“Inspiration is primarily targeted toward family move-up buyers,” she said. “Families or individuals who wish to downsize are also finding a home here with our single-story and lower square footage offerings.”
The community truly is an inspiration, Camp said.
“Specially crafted by our new home builders, Inspiration is a familyfriendly, gated, master-planned community…surrounded by the Petroglyphs,” she said. “These highquality homes are available in various site sizes and energy-efficient home designs with open, flexible spaces.”
