-

God granted Roger’s wish to die at home. First born son of Bill and Nancy Laumbach Johnson, he was born on

July 16th, 1965. First grandson of Daniel and Juanita Laumbach at Valencia, NM.

Third generation Mechanic, gifted by God, he rebuilt the engine of a car his dad dragged into the yard on a chain, when he was about 11 years old. Dad said "That’s your car, make it run." In two weeks, Roger was driving it around the back yard. His dad found cars for him to fix, and he did! He liked Mopar cars the most, later driving the family Dodge station wagon, his favorite, because of the terrific power it showed! His gift of mechanics proved he could fix anything. He wore many hats, because he liked to work on anything. Build, he did, storage buildings for his tools, body and fender man. H&C truck electrical service, hotel parking attendant, Motorola, Cellular and More, Skinner Carburetors and Distributors, Imported Auto Repair, Mobile Medical and Safety, KSVA Radio Station, just to mention a few.

Special to him were, the elderly, especially Aunt Betty, Anabelle Stevens, Wayne and Charity, his cousins, and relatives to numerous to mention. His special friends, a big thank you to those who helped me with his stuff in my time of need, Dan and Margaret, Dillon, John and Lena, Bob, Randy, George, Scott, Michael, Bruce, Jerry, Craig, David and Sons, more friends from the past, Glenn and Aimee, David Daves, Mike and Wynette, Pete Gracey, Frank Brown, Ken Conrey, Frank Skinner, Larry Abraham, Elmo Wood, Oren Tenold, Debbie Padilla, Frank and Lucy, Lisa and Lorraine, Vince and Louie, John Baker. This is a partial list written by Roger’s mom, Nancy Boyd. I can be reached at P.O. Box 26573 Abq, NM 87125. (Roger loved you all, he had a memory like an elephant.

He was dedicated to God by Pastor Kenneth Cox when he was 6 months old, he knew the bible front to back and loved Jesus dearly! He wasn’t perfect, only God is perfect!)

Another gift God gave Roger was, love for animals, he never met a cat who did not like him, he fed and petted stray cats in Albuquerque for many years. His cat Butterscotch preceded him in death. His cat Donnie is missing him a lot. Roger went out of his way to help those in need. Roger was preceded in death by his sister Melanie and his grandparents and his dad Bill. He is survived by his mom, Nancy Johnson Boyd, his brother-inlaw George and his niece Kehaulani Elizabeth Webb, his sister Stephanie and her daughter Nancy Elaine and husband Roger and their son Reece Daniel and Nancy’s dad Rony St. Dic. His brother, Rodney and wife Jaein and their daughter, his niece Sonnet Juliet. Written by his loving mother, Nancy.
