Emmy Grimm has come full circle. The Santa Fe-based flamenco dancer is back on stage at The Benitez Cabaret at The Santa Fe Lodge — a venue where she started dancing as a youth.

In this week’s feature story, I caught up with Grimm, who performs under the name La Emi, as she embarks on a new summer series slated to go through Sept. 5 in Santa Fe.

Grimm talks about what the series means to her and how it impacts her teaching the next generation of flamenco dancers.
