Linda B. Sprague

Linda Bergman Sprague, born August 21, 1941, said adios on Friday, July 9, 2021. Linda had many sides to her in life and family. On Linda’s Bergman side her memory persists through her sister Phyllis (Rick); beloved nieces and nephew, Eleanor (Matt), Lauryn (Simon), and Zach (Suzanne) Marks and all their children. Linda’s youngest sister, Vicki went before her in death and is survived by her husband, Fred Marks. Linda loved her cousin Kathy (Carl) and her children. On Linda’s Sprague side, she leaves her beloved husband Joseph; her daughter, Susanna Jane (Duane) and Linda’s only grandchild, Joe Ray Harris. Linda will be missed by her sisters in law, Jane (Steve), Sharon (Bob) and niece Edna and daughter. Linda had a theatrical side and performed in many plays. She loved the law and worked as a legal secretary. After retirement, she had a volunteer side and was a member of Friends of the Library and the Assistance League. Linda was a member of the First Unitarian church and enjoyed many connections there, including her Spirit Sisters. She had a bookish side and shared a love of reading with her book club friends. Linda’s home was on the westside of Albuquerque overlooking the city at Westcliffe, where she lived with Joe and their sweet dog Beau, surrounded by their lovely neighbors. We will deeply miss Linda and all her beautiful sides. We invite everyone to celebrate Linda every day, and plan to have a memorial at a later date.
