Phyllis M. Ramirez, 83, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 peacefully with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Bertha Pacheco; brothers: Lee, Fidel, George Pacheco: sons-in-law: Lorenzo Martinez, and Pancho Martinez. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lorenzo; children: Bernice Martinez, Evelyn Saavedra (Leroy), Lencho Ramirez (Cathy), Maggie Garcia (Leroy); brothers: David Pacheco, Robert Pacheco, Tony Pacheco, Gilbert Pacheco (Pepita); sister Virginia Candelaria; 19 grandchild­ren, 30 great-grandchild­ren; 4 great-great-grandchild­ren as well as many friends, neighbors and loved ones. She was a true disciple of God with her undying faith and love. Phyllis loved her family with all her heart and loved everyone as if they were family. Her life was spent giving generously to anyone that was in need whether it was food, money, compassion, love, or prayers. Her smile, generosity, and true faith in God will truly be missed. Phyllis’ Life Celebratio­n will begin with a Viewing on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 1860 Griegos Rd NW, 87107. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am. Mass will begin at 11:00 am. Phyllis will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Due to COVID the family asks that everyone attending Phyllis’ services wear a mask. Pallbearer­s will be Frank Martinez, Dennis Martinez, Fernando Martinez, Andre Martinez, Phillip Ramirez, and Joshua Garcia. Honorary pallbearer­s will be all her grandchild­ren.
