State Fair to offer official drinks

New Mexico State Fair officials this week introduced an official cocktail and craft beer available during the event.

The Angry Mule offers a New Mexican twist on the Moscow Mule, made with red chile-infused simple syrup and produced by Santa Fe-based Tumbleroot Brewery & Distillery, according to a news release.

The fair also announced its official “Blue Corn Lager, ”made with blue corn from Santa Ana Pueblo, according to the release.

The Angry Mule will be available at several retailers starting this weekend, while the Blue Corn Lager will be on offer exclusively at the fairgrounds throughout the 2021 New Mexico State Fair, Sept. 9-19.
