Early on the morning of September 3, 2021, the world became a little less bright when Dolores

Ann Jackson was relieved of her pain and became an angel to watch over herflock. She is survived by her loving and caring husband of 37 years, Bob; sons, Richard Swanberg and Robert Swanberg; Robert’s wife, Lisa and grandchild­ren Morgan, Ethan and Hailey. Also part of the flock she leaves behind are Shannon Jackson, his wife, Beth and grandchild­ren Alex, Nicholas and Brian of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her two brothers Ronnie and Ulysses Pace, of North Carolina,In addition, Dolores is also survived by her two best friends, Penny Gilliam and Judy Stanford, as well as nephews, Michael, Jeff and Aaron Chalkley and many other nieces and nephews. Each are an equally loved part of her family who will greatly miss her presence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Pace, and Robert Maddox, and her two sisters, Linda Chalkley and Janice Pace. Dolores, the consummate wife, mother, grandmothe­r, sister, friend and businesswo­man was undeniably vivacious and unique, as anyone who met her would agree. Among many things, she possessed a sense for adventurou­s travel, was an unparallel­ed cook, an avid collector of Native American artwork, and a true all around sports aficionado. The Family would like to thank the University of New Mexico Hospital and staff for the care they showed Dolores over the years.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 20th, 2021 at 1:00 PM, at the Sagebrush Riverside Church, 6440 Coors Blvd, NW, Albuquerqu­e, New Mexico. Please consider the conveyance of memorial gifts to the Enchantmen­t Chihuahua Rescue LTD, http://www. enchantmen­trescueltd.com in honor of Dolores in place of flowers. Cremation has been entrusted to Neptune Society.
