Marline Casey

-

Marline Casey left this earth on September 4, 2021, to join those who preceded her in heaven, especially her beloved husband Leslie.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Henson (husband Roy) and son Steve Casey (wife Judy). Grandsons Scott Merrill (wife Laura), Christopher Casey (wife Anna), and Jonathan Casey. Her precious greatgrandchildren Hannah Merrill, Ryan Merrill, Kadence Casey and Austin Casey. Brother Jim Cummings (wife Carol Jean) and their family. Her adopted sisters Mary Ellen Orr, Jacque Sell, Kathy Stambaugh and their families.

Marline retired as Executive Vice-President at First National Bank in Albuquerque. She was loved dearly by many and will be remembered by those whose lives she touched both professionally and personally. She enjoyed music, singing, shopping, crafting, traveling, the holidays, and sharing funny stories. She loved her family deeply. Her warm, friendly, and pleasant demeanor will be missed. Although it was rare for a mother to work in the 50’s and 60’s she took pride in her profession. Her ability to come home from work and still prepare fantastic dinners within an hour was remarkable. Sharing her recipes of favorite meals and desserts through the years ensures that her family will continue to enjoy her cooking and baking talents for decades to come.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations be made in Marline’s memory to The Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter at P.O. Box 21400, Albuquerque, NM 871541400 or visit their website at //alz.org/NewMexico.

Services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with a reception to follow.
