Melody M. McLaughlin Theoharis

-

Our dear mother, Melody M. McLaughlin Theoharis (1953 - 2023), was a loving and caring woman who devoted her life to her family. The Lord called her to Him in a peaceful manner after a brief and unexpected hospitalization with her daughter and son-in-law by her side on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in her 69th year. This lovely, thoughtful, and kind woman leaves us with an immeasurable loss and will be extremely missed by her twin daughters, Roxy (Nathan Turner), and Yancy (Aaron Romero).

Melody was born into a military family in Topeka, Kansas. Her parents retired to Albuquerque where Melody and her sister were raised. Melody worked with the telephone company and served as an officer of the local union (CWA) before becoming a stay at home and homeschooling mother. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her, and always had kind words of wisdom for us and her many friends. Melody had a fantastic humor with which she viewed the world and shared her humor with great delivery.

She was predeceased by her parents, Owen and Virginia McLaughlin; and her husband, George Theoharis. She is survived by her daughters and her cherished grandchildren, Georgie, Piper, and Quinn (Turner).

Melody will be forever remembered for her warm and loving soul. Our hearts are heavy as we celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in Heaven watching over us and that we will be reunited again. All are welcome to attend her Rosary, Visitation, and Funeral Mass. Please contact the family for details. Please visit our online guestbook for Melody at www.FrenchFunerals.com.
