Shelley Lynn Jordan, 52, passed away on April 19, 2023, at BSA hospital in Amarillo, Texas. She left behind many loved ones, who realize that she is now with God, our Father, finally free of pain. Her family is sad to say goodbye and to go on without her.

A celebratio­n of Shelley’s life will be held on May 6, 2023, at 11 am MDT at Christian Fellowship Center, 448 US Hwy 60-70-84, located halfway between Clovis and Texico.

Shelley was born July 20, 1970, to Willa Dean (Horvath) Jordan and Charles Jordan, Sr., in Freeport, TX. Two years later, Willa returned to Carlsbad with Shelley and Charlie. Shelley’s mother married Coley Clay, when Shelley was four. Shelley attended school in Carlsbad for 10 years. Then, her family moved to Clovis, NM, where she graduated high school as a Clovis Wildcat. Shelley loved her four children fiercely; they meant everything to her.

Shelley is survived by her children: Stetson Harris, Styler Harris, Storry Ashmore, and Stolen Zientara; father, Charles Jordan, Sr.; stepfather, Coley (Susan) Clay; siblings: Charles Jordan, Jr., League Clay and Deeanna Maes; step-sisters, Kim Sparks, Sharla Sparks; and several grandchild­ren. She is survived by aunts and uncles: Sally Horvath, Bill and Margie Horvath II; nieces and nephews: Charlie Jordan, Tye Jordan, Tamara Maes, Darius Maes, William (Rebecca) Clay; friend, Stephanie (Vinny) Neumann; cousin, Kristi Northcutt, as well as numerous other cousins.

Shelley was preceded in death by her mother Willa Dean (Horvath) Clay; grandparen­ts: Bill and Gussie Horvath, Almouth and Willadene Jordan, and League and Beth Clay; aunt Brenda Northcutt, uncle Jerry Northcutt, cousins: William Horvath III and James Copper II.
