AT BOOKWORKS IN ALBUQUERQUE
Bestselling Blackfeet author Stephen Graham Jones will be in conversation with Ramona Emerson about his new book “The Angel of Indian Lake” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Bookworks.
The book is the final installment in Jones’ “Indian Lake” trilogy. The horror novel picks up four years after “Don’t Fear the Reaper” leaves off. Jade returns to Proofrock, Idaho, to build a life after years of sacrifice, only to find that the Lake Witch is waiting for her.

Rachel Bate signs her children’s book “Hatch Chile Willie” from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24. The author has lived in New Mexico since 1993. She is a retired elementary and special education teacher. Her stories encourage kids to follow their dreams, be mindful of others and take care of the planet.
Chris Allen and Patricia Walkow, will read from and sign copies of their mystery/ romance novel, “Alchemy’s Reach,” from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30. In the story, Jennifer, a deputy sheriff, invites her brother to return and learn more about the ghost town of Alchemy. The town was once flooded, then exposed to drought. Local barflies think a treasure is buried there.

AT COLLECTED WORKS IN SANTA FE
Carol MacHendrie and Jeff Strong will discuss and sign copies of their book “ADHD For Dummies” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Collected Works, 202 Galisteo St., in downtown Santa Fe. The book explores living a healthy and fulfilling life with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or ADHD, how to seek diagnosis and how to choose the proper treatment.
