To each his island

The bracing odor of the sea sinks its roots into the essence of an island in a permanent bond. Acqua dell’elba proposes a story that celebrates the islands of the Tuscan archipelago, different and distinct places but having in common the same environmental, historical and cultural roots: the island of Elba, with its secrets, its transparencies and its lightness; Pianosa, with its aromas, its warmth and its colors; and Montecristo, with its fascination, its mystery and it detachment. And so is born Essence of an Island, a narrative in three volumes created to enter into the spirit of an authentically Tuscan craftsmanship: Acqua, Smeraldo, Altrove. The first, Acqua, is a scent for both men and women, with prevalent notes of citrus and sea brine underlined by marine algae, myrtle and jasmine flowers, cedar wood, aquatic moss and myrtle berries. The second, Smeraldo, is a feminine perfume created with notes of gardenia, magnolia, rockrose, cedar, mandarin orange, bergamot and geranium supported by bass notes of mastic, boxwood, cypress and juniper woods. The last, Altrove, is a scent for men featuring juniper, cypress, iris and jasmine followed by rose, leather, tobacco, characteristic woods and resins of the Mediterranean underbrush, and finishing with hints of incense and arbutus berries.quadel
