Gila Ridge junior

The lowdown:

Taylor was the only Gila Ridge girl to compete at the Division II state meet, finishing 20th in the diving competition. At the Colorado River Championships, she took first in diving and eighth in the 50 free, while also helping the Hawks win the 200 free relay.

Coach Greg Brown:

“Taylor continued to prove how important she is to a growing dive program in the area. Her top-20 (state) finish is the highest for any Gila Ridge diver and as she transitions from being a dive-only participant to a sprint freestyler as well, the future looks bright for this young lady as she moves into her senior season.”
