Just two ingredient­s and 5 minutes of your time will create a delicious homemade hard shell. Add more oil for a thinner, crispier shell and use less oil for a thicker shell. You can also use soybean or canola oil in place of the coconut oil.

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

⅔ cup coconut oil

Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well between intervals, until mixture is smooth, 1 to 2 minutes. [It takes about 1 minute of stirring between each interval.] Store at room temperatur­e in an airtight container up to 1 week.
