Daytime dementia care

Caring for an aging loved one can be costly in terms of time, money and emotion. Santa Clara County is testing a program that would provide free daytime care for residents living with cognitive impairments like dementia, particularly those struggling with the financial burden.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the program is currently virtual, with some meal delivery services included. Residents interested in trying out the program—which includes games, movement exercises, crafts and entertainment—can call 408550-0701.
