Could in­tro­duc­ing day­light sav­ings mea­sures boost chil­dren's phys­i­cal ac­tiv­ity by en­cour­ag­ing them to stay ac­tive into the evening hours? One ob­ser­va­tional study found that longer evening day­light was in­de­pen­dently as­so­ci­ated with a small in­crease in daily phys­i­cal ac­tiv­ity of chil­dren aged 5 to 16 years.
