THE MARSHALL GALLERY OF FINE ART
7106 E. Main Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, (480) 970-3111 email@themarshallgallery.com www.themarshallgallery.com Phoenix attorney DeeAn Gillespie founded The Marshall Gallery of Fine Art in 1999 with the initial goal of showcasing emerging but excellent artwork of the “Utah school.” Since then, Marshall has come to represent national and international artists in one of Scottsdale’s largest and well-known facilities, showing oil paintings, sculpture in metal and stone and fine glass—varied yet harmonious. Gillespie’s European husband, Peter Strub, brings decades of world travels to the gallery’s collection.
New to the Marshall Gallery this season are Roger Hayden Johnson, whose artwork transmogrifies mere vessels into objects of art; prominent figurative artist Duffy Sheridan, who employs the techniques of past masters and injects an intriguing but essential contemporary element into his masterpieces; and Chris Segre-Lewis’ sublime landscapes that “evidence the Divine.”
Wildlife and figure artists Ken Peloke and David Frederick Riley will again take center stage. Also featured are the works of Mark Laguë,a realist who reveals life in its vibrant variety in magnificent cityscapes.
Those wanting to familiarize themselves with artists’ secret skills can attend “teach-in” demonstrations offered by the gallery with some of its premier artists. The schedule can be found on the gallery’s website.
