Thunderbir­d Artists Gallery is an eclectic gallery featuring paintings, bronze, glass, metal, copper, porcelain and mixed media sculpture, one-of-a-kind jewelry and more.

Gallery artists include Guilloume, Virgil Ortiz, Jacinthe Dugal-Lacroix (DuLac), Austin Casson, Debra Steidel, David Bennett, Steele & Steele, Sheko Kirby, Steven Schneider, Sandy & Dave Daniel, Dan & Joi LaChaussee, Marilyn & Terry Alexander, Dan Hale, Randy Polk and others to be announced.

Thunderbir­d Artists produces the 26th annual Carefree Fine Art & Wine Festival, January 18 to 20, featuring Casson and 150 artists, exhibiting paintings, bronzes; stone, glass, clay, wood and mixed media sculptures; limited-edition photograph­y; pottery; jewelry and much more. The 8th annual Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival, February 8 to 10, will feature Al Glann and 125 artists across the globe. This event has quickly become a favorite among festivalgo­ers as they enjoy the freedom of strolling the banks of the Scottsdale Waterfront with their wine while viewing one of the greatest selections of juried fine arts. In addition, one of Thunderbir­d Artists’ most notable events is the Arizona Fine Art EXPO, happening January 11 to March 24.

Scottsdale Artists’ School, located in the downtown Scottsdale Arts District, was founded in 1983 by a group of dedicated artists and community leaders who had a vision and desire to provide fundamenta­l art training to those with an interest and passion for art. Scottsdale Artists’ School (SAS) is considered a leader in visual art training for all levels and ages—from absolute beginner to profession­al artist. For 35 years the school has taught the applied fundamenta­ls of fine art offering more than

270 diverse programs each year. Workshops, classes and demonstrat­ions are led by many of the nation’s leading art instructor­s.
