Meyer Gallery, founded in 1967 by Darrel and Jeri Meyer, opened with the purpose to exhibit among the finest in contemporary representational art. After 30 years of achieving just this, the Meyers and their son, Dirk, opened Meyer Gallery – Santa Fe, on historic Canyon Road. The Santa Fe gallery has evolved into one of the finest in the United States; and over the years it has become a premier destination for discerning collectors worldwide.
“Due to its all-inclusive gallery scene, the Santa Fe art market and its varied offerings continue to reign supreme as the premier destination for collectors,” says John Manzari, director of the gallery. “Where else can you see so much quality work in a beautiful, easily accessible setting?”
The gallery works with over 50 living artists, both emerging and wellestablished; whose influences are deeply connected to the many master painters and sculptors of the past. With a fresh commitment, these artists continue exploring this timeless genre. Offered to collectors for purchase are landscape, figurative and still life paintings and a large selection of bronze sculptures. Each year the gallery hosts a series of exhibitions by gallery artists. Artist receptions, held at the gallery, are on Friday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m. and are open to the public. On
May 3, it opens a show for Ken Daggett; on May 17 the gallery hosts Fatima Ronquillo; while June 14 is a show for David Dornan; and on June 28 is a reception for Vachagan Narazyan.
