More than 50 exhibitors will participat­e in the inaugural Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair from September 12 to 15.

Each September, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, has been a leading destinatio­n for fine art with its 35th annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival bringing together collectors and artists for an array of events. This year, happening concurrent­ly with the festival is the firstever

Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair at Snow King Sports & Events Center. The fair, held September 12 to 15, will feature more than 50 national dealers that specialize in contempora­ry realism, Western art, abstract art and more.

Exhibiting in this year’s inaugural event will be dealers such as Abend Gallery, Gallery 1261, GF Contempora­ry, Maxwell Alexander Gallery, Peace Water Collective, Rehs Contempora­ry, T.H. Brennen Fine Art, Wilde Meyer Gallery, and more. At their booths, the galleries will have curated exhibition­s based on

their specialiti­es, providing buyers a diverse selection of artwork to choose from.

“We are proud to be able to present this inaugural edition of Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair,” says Rick Friedman, executive director of ShowHampto­ns, which produces the fair. “Our exhibitors will be showcasing important works that range across genres, providing visitors an opportunit­y to explore Western, Native American art and wildlife art alongside modern and contempora­ry artists such as Maynard Dixon, Andy Warhol, Ed Mell and Ed Ruscha.” Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair opens September 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. with an opening sneak peek that provides collectors the first opportunit­y to purchase works. Show hours continue September 13 and 14 from noon to 6 p.m. and September 15 from noon to 4 p.m. The fair will collaborat­e with a number of local charities, museums and companies for special events and programmin­g throughout its run. Notably, the Harvest Moon Art Benefit on September 13, from 6 to 8 p.m., will raise funds for the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
