Erwin Moore
Erwin Moore has been a professional artist for more than 20 years, but didn’t take his innate talent seriously when he was a child. “Growing up, my mom was a licensed beautician and my brothers were recording hip-hop artists. Both of them impacted my life after accomplishing their wondrous goals. My brothers influenced me so much as a kid, I ignored my artistic talent and followed their footsteps as a musician,” he says. “When I grew up, I acknowledged my mom and brothers accomplished their dreams from not giving up on their talent and passion. I reevaluated my direction in life as an artist.”
Moore’s focus is on being an established artist and achieving a successful career. He creates content and concepts from his life experiences, environments he adores and unforgettable moments. “Still life is one of my favorite styles I create. Most of my artwork is oil paintings,” he says. “Now, I’m producing more vector art through my portfolio. Oil painting is still a passion for me, but it’s less time-consuming and convenient to produce vector art. In the future, I plan to have a portfolio heavily built with hyperrealism vector art.”
The artist adds, he loves hyperrealism because “it’s the most exclusive style to use while capturing the depth of emotion, moment and atmosphere from reality.” He focuses on initiating the Trompe l’Oeil technique in every theme. “I want viewers not just to imagine, but feel they are actually a part of the scene,” he says. “To me, hyperrealism means creating an unreal perception beyond the mind’s eye of reality.”
