Wood Slice DIY PLACE CARD HOLDERS

-

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Tree branches

Chop saw or miter saw Ruler and pencil Place cards

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Gather tree branches, about 4-6” in diameter.

Use the chop saw or miter saw to slice the branches into disks 1-2” thick. You’ll need half the number of disks as you need place card holders.

Use the ruler and pencil to mark the middle of each disk, then cut it in half with the saw. Make sure you cut straight down so the half disk can stand on its own. On the top edge of each half disk, cut a small slit into the center, about 1” deep. Make sure to stabilize your wood before cutting it with the saw.

Slide your name cards into the slits and set them at each place setting.
