These festive gift wrap projects are the perfect way to show someone how special they are.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Christmas tree branches
• Twine and ribbon
• Embellishments of your choice
• Stamp ink (I used white) and pencil with eraser
BOOK PAGE TOPPERS
1. Start with gifts wrapped in basic brown craft paper. You can also start with brown craft paper boxes instead of wrapping each present individually if you don’t want to wrap the packages.
2. Cut a basic shape pattern out of white paper. You can do a Christmas tree, snowflake, reindeer or any other shape you want, or even find some fun shapes online to print and cut out.
3. Trace around the pattern on a book page; then cut it out.
4. Use double-stick tape to stick it to the top of the box.
5. Finish it off with additional items, such as small snowflake stickers, a pom-pom red nose on your reindeer or jingle bells as ornaments.
MINIATURE LIVE GREENERY TOPPERS
1. Start with gifts wrapped in simple wrapping paper. You can use the same brown craft paper as your book page gifts, or use another simple wrapping paper that will work with your décor and Christmas tree.
2. Cut a few branches off your Christmas tree, or ask your local Christmas tree seller if you can have some of their leftover cuttings.
3. FOR A TREE: Using tape or another adhesive, affix a branch onto your gift package. Trim the pine needles as needed to create a Christmas tree shape. Finish it off with embellishments such as an empty Scrabble tile as a base, a star sticker as a tree topper or other embellishments as ornaments. 4. FOR A WREATH: Shape a few of the branches into a wreath shape, and stick these onto the front of the package. Finish it off with a ribbon or tie it off with twine.
STENCILED PAPER
1. Start with basic brown craft paper or another solid-colored wrapping paper.
2. With white stamp ink, create a pattern on the craft paper using items you find around the house, such as polka dots with a pencil eraser, or a lattice-patterned stamp. You could even create a rose pattern with a horizontal cut across a bunch of celery stalks.
Look for brown craft paper
in the mailing products section of the store. It’s so inexpensive—you can wrap an
entire Christmas for $3.99.
