What’s farmhouse style without a few farm animals? Even if you don’t raise chickens or goats, there are plenty of ways to incorporate the motif of farm animals into your home design. First, try artwork. Animal portrait photography is on-trend right now, or hunt down a vintage painting that shows the countryside with animals in the landscape. You can also use textiles to showcase animals, from fabrics on curtains and pillows to kitchen towels. Just remember to keep it classy—no clipart-type figures, but go for silhouettes and illustrations.
