Gerald L. Carr
Dr. Gerald L. Carr received his B.A. in humanities from Michigan State University, and an M.A. and PH.D. in history of art from the University of Michigan.a published photographer as well as an art historian, he has authored and co-authored eight books and numerous articles and reviews on 19th-century American, British and French art and architecture. Specializing in Hudson River School painters in general and Frederic Edwin Church in particular, he also has taught at five American colleges and universities.
