Jane Peter­son:at Home and Abroad runs through Oc­to­ber 12 in the Hyde Col­lec­tion’s Wood and Feibes & Sch­mitt Gal­leries. Dur­ing her life­time, Peter­son trav­eled the world, be­friend­ing ma­jor artists of the time, and build­ing a life as a mod­ern ca­reer woman.the ex­hi­bi­tion doc­u­ments her life with over 80 paint­ings and se­lect mem­o­ra­bilia fol­low­ing her jour­neys. A com­pan­ion ex­hi­bi­tion, Chang­ing the Land­scape:women Im­pres­sion­ists from the Thomas Clark Col­lec­tion, sheds light on the work of 21 lesser-known fe­male artists of the time.
