Shannon’s will host its bian­nual Fine Art Auc­tion Oc­to­ber 25 at 6 p.m. in­clud­ing Amer­i­can land­scapes, im­pres­sion­ism, nau­ti­cal paint­ings, still lifes and more.among the stand­outs will be Ed­ward Moran’s The Win­ning Yacht (est. $40/60,000), which is a sail­ing scene of a ves­sel round­ing the buoy to win its race.the work, which re­cently emerged from a pri­vate Con­necti­cut col­lec­tion, has an es­ti­mate of $40,000 to $60,000. Two re­gion­ally sig­nif­i­cant paint­ings will also cross the block. Andrew Win­ter’s Blue Day, de­pict­ing Mon­hegan Island cov­ered in snow, car­ries an es­ti­mate of $20,000 to $30,000. Wil­liam Wil­cox painted On the Board­walk, At­lantic City, New Jersey (est. $10/15,000) in 1874, just four years af­ter the first board­walk was com­pleted in 1870.

There also will be works in the auc­tion from Eu­gene Ber­man,wil­lard L. Met­calf, Colin Campbell Cooper, Dwight Tryon, Henry Martin Gasser and more.
