The Ly­man Al­lyn Art Mu­seum has opened a new per­ma­nent ex­hi­bi­tion, fo­cus­ing on the life and suc­cess of the Amer­i­can artist and de­signer, Louis Com­fort Tif­fany. His iconic stained glass win­dows will be on dis­play along his early works of paint­ings, fur­ni­ture, lamps and pho­to­graphs. tif­fany’ s ca­reer as a painter and in­te­rior de­signer will be shown through his early works, and im­por­tant pieces such as three newly con­served stained glass win­dows from the early 18th cen­tury will be the main fo­cus of the ex­hibit.
