For the first time in history, the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, will showcase its entire collection from one of the most important gifts in its history, that of Marguerite and Gerry Lenfest in 1999, which included 50 Pennsylvania Impressionist paintings. Such artists as Walter Emerson Baum, Fern Coppedge, John Fulton Folinsbee, Daniel Garber ,william Lathrop, Edward Redfield and others will be on view, as well as a collection of modernist works gifted by the Lenfests in 2010, which includes works by Charles Frederick Ramsey, Louis Stone and more.the exhibition runs September 28 to January 5, 2020.
