Big Plans: Picturing Social Reform at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston surveys the ways in which landscape architects and photograph­ers in the late-19th and early-20th centuries advocated for social reform in Boston, Newyork and Chicago.the exhibition, running June 20 through September 15, presents city plans, archival materials, historical maps and photograph­s, inviting visitors to explore how their work speaks to the urban challenges of our time.
