Big Plans: Picturing Social Reform at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston surveys the ways in which landscape architects and photographers in the late-19th and early-20th centuries advocated for social reform in Boston, Newyork and Chicago.the exhibition, running June 20 through September 15, presents city plans, archival materials, historical maps and photographs, inviting visitors to explore how their work speaks to the urban challenges of our time.
