Hans Hofmann: the Nature of Abstraction highlights nearly 70 works across the influential, German-born American painter’s career.the exhibition comprises artwork from the museum’s collection and a number of rarely seen works from public and private collections across North America and Europe, providing viewers insights into Hofmann’s approach to painting through his explorations of color, form and space. works will remain on view through July 21.
