Philip Guston retrospective
A selection of approximately 125 paintings and 70 drawings from some 40 public and private collections featuring well-known and rarely seen works by Philip Guston will be on view as part of a retrospective for the revered modern painter. Highlights from the exhibition include paintings from the 1930s that have never been on public view, the largest reunion of paintings from his groundbreaking Marlborough Gallery show in 1970, and much more.the show will go on a multi-year international tour beginning with the National Gallery of Art through September 13, finishing with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston on October 17, 2021.
