I have been blessed to catch all kinds of game fish, but stripers are still my favorite. I guess it’s that Chesapeake Bay that you can never wash off.

These are awesome fish. I fished for them in Smith Lake in Alabama.

Michael Burch

If you’ve fished for stripers, you feel the story.

What a great read! Very well done. It’s nice to know I am not alone.

Frank Mihalic

“I’ve seen them slurp tiny cinder worms during a spring hatch on a salt pond, moving gracefully through darkening waters the way dreams wend through slumber.” Nice turn of a phrase.

Brian Hannon

Caught a nice one in San Francisco Bay aboard the California Dawn!

Dave Young

Nice work, William Sisson. It sure is a different fish when you “reel them in” rather than “reel them up.”
