“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done

Annie's Quilting for the Home - - News - Carolyn S. Vagts, editor

This special edition of Quilter’s World is for all those want-to-be quilters and experienced quilters out there with a little spare time. If you've been waiting for a collection of fun and easy quilt projects that not only have style but also are easy enough for the novice and interesting enough for the experienced quilter, you've come to the right place.

This issue has projects in sizes that are suitable for the beginner quilter who is looking for success and has the will to learn a new craft. It will also appeal to the seasoned quilter with a basket of stashed fabrics looking for a project with not only aesthetic appeal but one that can be completed in a short amount of time. Making something beautiful doesn't have to be difficult.

Either way, these projects are attractive and can be made with scraps or with small amounts of coordinating fabrics. Scrappy doesn't have to mean ugly. With the right project, it can be whatever you want it to be.
